Chief Imam has commended Goldstar Air
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharabutu has commended Goldstar Air, a wholly-owned Ghanaian company for recognising his efforts at promoting inter-faith unity and harmony in Ghana.
The Chief Imam made this known shortly after the CEO of Goldstar Air, Mr Eric Bannerman announced that the company will name one of its aircraft after him.
The Chief Imam’s spokesperson, Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu, said the Muslim leader was excited by the recognition and indicated his support for the success of Goldstar.
“What gives him most excitement is that it has been announced that one of the aircrafts will be named after him in recognition of the efforts that he has been making to promote inter-faith harmony, peace and for his tolerance and how he also uses the youth to promote development.
“He (Chief Imam) has become a source of inspiration for our young people to be more tolerant and patient and to be peaceful in the way that we live with others”.
He also prayed for peace and national cohesion among all faiths and religious groups across the world.
